Why did Allah not reveal the Qur'an in a language more widely spoken on earth?

There are only 150 million native Arabic speakers in the world today. Languages such as Mandarin (800 million), Spanish (358 million), English (350 million), Hindi (200 million) or Russian (160 million) all have much more speakers.
