What is the age of marriage/sex for Muslim girls?

The classical jurists in Islamic history generally agreed there was no age limit for marriage as the institution carried a wider set of roles than a contemporary "marriage" as understood in the West. For instance a husband could use marriage to fulfil the role of guardianship. Sex was prohibited at any age if it caused harm of any sort.
